TUESDAY IS A DAY

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I apologize that I wasn't able to stream this Sunday. I had some friends over, we stayed up WAY too late and I needed sleep. BUT, I will be live this week so keep an eye on the socials for updates.

Speaking of socials... this weekend was pretty strange for us Americans wasn't it? TikTok went offline on Sunday due to the US government banning the app. Joe Biden put a delay to the ban in the hands of Donald Trump, and he delivered. As of 16 hours after the app was offline, it was back. Now, the app itself and some people are thankful for Trump, but I'm in the mindset that this is a publicity stunt since he was the one that started the idea that the app should be banned, and now he's wanting to keep it. It makes no sense. Some Americans are leaving Xiaohongshu (RedNote) as well because TikTok is back.

I will not be following this move. I made a post Monday morning to let everyone know that I will be posting EVERYWHERE. I'm not going to just leave Xiaohongshu when they have been so hospitable to us Americans as TikTok was banned. I stated that I'd like to resemble Steve from Blue's Clues. We never personally knew Steve as a character, but he was always open with us, admitted when he needed help or if he was wrong, and never talked down to us. Hell, we don't even personally know the actor, Steve Burns, but we trust this stranger because of how he interacts with the people around him in interviews and on the streets. I want to be transparent and a creator that you all can trust and feel comfortable interacting with.

What kinds of projects are on the horizon? Well, my goal is to edit the rest of the episodes I recorded for DURGE DUDES. I'm going to work on some art as well. Finally, I'm going to work on a new dinosaur series called Simplifying Dinosaurs. In this series, I'll be simplifying what dinosaurs are, highlighting popular species, and attempting to educate people on dinosaurs in an easy to digest way.

We won't be finishing DOOM 2016 this month due to the game being so long, BUT there is a new poll available on the discord for February's stream!
