SPICE ADDICT

So I've been getting into Dune a lot recently. I read the audiobook of the first book before Dune Part 1 came to theaters. It's an incredibly interesting and confusing book. Dune Pt1 and Pt2 (my girlfriend and I watched pt2 the day after it released to theaters) were very faithful to the book as well as many younger people, such as myself, have noticed how amazing the story is. As you all might know, I LOVE science fiction and lore. This scratches that itch like crazy!

I just finished Dune Messiah and felt conflicted on what was going on in the story. Lots of people on TikTok and YouTube help flesh out what's going on. I just recently found the Gom Jabar podcast, and they've been extremely helpful by giving the clift notes and "dumbing down" the events leading up to the first book.

The more I learn about this world, the more enthralled I am with it! You guys know I love dinosaurs and know a lot about them. I've dived into the lore of Destiny 2 and could give you a good summary of the story before the game to where the story is currently. And now... I think Dune is going to be that next hyper fixation. I'd prepare yourself for more Dune videos in the near future, where I put my own thoughts on the lore and other aspects about Dune.
